Victoria’s harbour is ringed by popular public walkways that wind along the falling or risings tides. Victoria Harbour History hopes to work with the City and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority to establish place markers of some of the enterprises that were so important down through time to Victoria’s success.

Currently walkway visitors are treated to a series beautiful views of various shoreline vistas and the bustle of all the harbour’s various activities. Benches along the way provide lovely spots apart from the buzz of street traffic where one can enjoy a picnic lunch, visit with a friend, reflect quietly, or people watch.
