Helijet

Helijet International established Canada’s first scheduled helicopter service in 1986 with a single helicopter flying four return flights daily between Kamel Point in downtown Victoria and downtown Vancouver. Over the last three decades the airline has safely transported over two million passengers, becoming the world’s largest publicly-traded helicopter airline. Their team of over one hundred maintains, administers, and flies its fleet of medium and large helicopters through operations in Victoria, Richmond, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii.

The airline contracts its helicopters and turbojet fixed-wing aircraft to government, sport fishing resorts, and to energy & insurance companies throughout British Columbia, North America, and Asia.

Air Medical Service

Skilled in providing both life-threatening emergency response and rapid patient transfer, Helijet’s dedicated air ambulance teams provide a vital service for communities throughout North America. The airline is the most experienced and largest provider of air medical services in British Columbia.

Helijet’s Air Medical Service operates its fleet of Sikorsky S76 air ambulance helicopters out of Vancouver International Airport and Prince Rupert/Seal Cove. Both the service’s LearJet 31A and Hawker 800A fixed-wing aircraft are available for air medical charter.
